Learning To Fish with Your Parents…Priceless

Elm Grove Elementary annual “Lets Go Fishing” event is coming on May 3rd 2014 to Bradfield Park Lake in Buda

AUSTIN, Texas - April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Fishing is a serious sport for some and a past time for others.  For Fathers, Mothers, Grandparents, Uncle, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Brothers and Sisters, it’s a way of enjoying what nature has to offer with their friends and loved ones.

Vincent Lecca, is a volunteer for the Texas Parks and Wildlife.  As an Angler Educator, he’s has been supporting this event for the past 4 years.  Vincent recently reached out to local bass fishing apparel website, ATX Bass Fishing and connected with the site’s founder, Chris Ellison.  “I met Vincent about two years ago.  We both entered a bass fishing tournament in Kyle” They both laughed about the weather conditions that day.  To put it into one word, challenging.   But, needless to say their experience on that cold windy day brought them together years down the road.

The conversation led to Vincent getting Chris to volunteer and bring a few gifts for the kids in the upcoming tournament.  Chris later stated, “This was such an easy decision for me, some of my best memories as a child, were the ones fishing with my family”.

The event is being held at Bradfield Park Lake in Buda, TX on May 3rd. 10:00AM-2:00PM
