Heiser Ford Lincoln To Raise As Much As $8,000 For GiGi's PlayHouse Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE - April 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Heiser Ford Lincoln is excited to bring Lincoln’s Driven To Give program to the Milwaukee community in an effort to raise up to $8,000 for GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee. For every person who takes the wheel and test-drives an eligible Lincoln vehicle at the Milwaukee Yacht Club on Saturday, May 10th, Heiser and Lincoln will donate $20 to the GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee.

"We know funding for non-profit organizations is hard to come by," said Chris Meyer, General Manager at Heiser Ford Lincoln. "We want to do our part ensure that organizations such as GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee can make a difference in our community."

GiGi’s Playhouse is a resource center that offers 30 educational and therapeutic programs to individuals and their families with Down syndrome. Gigi’s Playhouse Milwaukee will be a place where a person with Down syndrome can walk into and be given the opportunity for experiences that will empower them to succeed. The funds raised at the Driven To Give event will help launch the new GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee location this September.

"Having a GiGi’s Playhouse in Milwaukee will mean children and adults with Down syndrome are going to be given a boost so that they can reach their fullest potential," said Jennifer Northouse, Treasurer of GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee. "It’s exciting that Milwaukee will soon have a physical resource center for families to go to for information and support."

The event, which will be held from 2:00PM to 8:00PM, will feature vehicles from the reimagined 2014 Lincoln lineup. Dealership staff on-site will be able to assist with all Lincoln vehicles and provide additional information about each vehicle available to test-drive. The all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC will also be available to view for the first time in Milwaukee.

To participate in this exciting event and get behind the wheel of your favorite Lincoln vehicle, please visit Milwaukee Yacht Club at 1700 North Lincoln Memorial Drive between 2:00PM and 8:00PM on Saturday, May 10th. Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household. All test-drives will last approximately 7-10 minutes.
