Engage Announces Participation in LaunchCode St. Louis

ST. LOUIS - April 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Engage, experts in the design and development of web and mobile solutions for enterprises, announces its membership in LaunchCode St. Louis, a radical new effort that pairs companies needing programmers with aspiring coders bridging the IT talent gap in St. Louis. Since its establishment in September 2013, LaunchCode has paired more than 60 new coders with local companies, including Matt Kelly with Engage.

A company deeply rooted in the St. Louis area, Engage joined LaunchCode to not only expand its staff, but also to support a movement aimed at training aspiring programmers so that they can seamlessly transition into the IT workforce. Using a “pair programming” model, LaunchCode partners with companies like Engage who agree to pair a new coder with an experienced developer. This pair works together until the new coder is trained and able to take on a full-time job.
