Have Fun Teaching Launches KickStarter Project and Needs Help From Teachers and Parents

ATLANTA - April 30, 2014 - PRLog -- My name is Mark Luchauer, creator of Have Fun Teaching. I just launched a KickStarter Project called Sight Word Music Videos. If funded, I will be creating 220 Sight Word Music Videos that will give teachers and parents a fun and effective way to help children all over the world become better readers!

Sight Word Music Videos KickStarter Project

220 Sight Word Music Videos that will give teachers and parents a fun and effective way to help children become better readers!

This KickStarter Project will end on June 2nd. In order to complete the project, we will need to raise a total of $220,000. Every little bit helps and you can even receive awesome Rewards for backing this project!

Here are Some of the REWARDS

Rewards: There are different rewards that you will receive for backing the Sight Word Music Videos project on KickStarter. Depending on how much you donate, the rewards get bigger and bigger!

THE IDEA

So, I have this BIG IDEA to create Animated Music Videos for ALL 220 Sight Words. Each of the 220 Sight Word Videos will be unique with different music and animation, but will follow the same sequence described below:

Part 1: Showing and Repeating the Word.
Part 2: Spelling the Word.
Part 3: Showing and Repeating the Word.
Part 4: Using the Word in Sentences.
Part 5: Showing and Repeating the Word.
Part 6: Spelling the Word.
Part 7: Showing and Repeating the Word.

We will also be introducing brand new Have Fun Teaching characters, called Funzies! Each character will have unique strengths, such as Alphabet, Character, Math, Fitness, Reading, Science, Shapes, etc.

THE SOLUTION

YOU! You are the solution! If this project is fully funded, we will be able to combine our fun and educational Sight Word Songs with high quality Music Videos for all 220 Sight Words! Teachers, parents, and children all over the world will cheer, and good times will be had in classrooms and homes all over. When this project is complete, all of the Sight Word Songs and Videos will be offered for FREE, via YouTube and Streaming, for everyone to benefit.

3. Songs are a GREAT way to remember and recall information. This is very important, especially when trying to learn Sight Words. Other people have tried to create Sight Word Songs by combining several words into one song, however, we believe that by focusing on one word per song, children will be able to master each word individually and use the word in context. Sight Words are words that don’t follow the traditional spelling rules. Sight Words need to be memorized. Children listening to these songs and watching these videos will have an increased chance of remembering the words, which will benefit them as they start to read.
