Maya’s dream finally comes true on TFC’s “Be Careful With My Heart” Rewind

QUEZON CITY, Philippines - May 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Philippine global television’s most lovable would-be couple, Maya (Jodi Sta. Maria) and Ser Chief (Richard Yap), continues to melt our hearts and make us believe that dreams come true, in the sub-titled version of the kilig-serye, “Be Careful With My Heart” Rewind on The Filipino Channel (TFC) this May.

On the first week of TFC’s sub-titled version of “Be Careful With My Heart (BCWMH) Rewind,” which airs May 3, London and Pacific Time (May 4, Sydney, Tokyo, and Riyadh time), we look back at how Maya departs the Lim residence after a rift with Ser Chief.  Upon her return to hometown San Nicolas, Maya tells Kute that she has resigned from the Lim residences and can now work for their family business in San Nicolas (Tsibugan).  Little does she know that Ser Chief has not approved of her resignation just yet.  Ser Chief, together with his three kids, arrives in San Nicolas and surprises Maya.  Ser Chief tells Maya they are in San Nicolas for a vacation but what Ser Chief did not say is that he actually wants her to come back.

In the following episode, Maya finally decides to resign as Abby’s yaya because she feels unjustly treated by Ser Chief.  Ser Chief, feeling the need to take Maya into some heart-to-heart talk, reserves a lunch date with Maya and her family.  Nanay Teresita (Sylvia Sanchez) notices that Maya is somehow distant from Ser Chief.  In a his revelation to Nanay Teresa, Ser Chief admits he and his children, especially Abby (Mutya Orquia) need Maya.  Finding a window of opportunity to talk to Maya at the picnic, he offers Maya double her salary if she changes her mind.  This further infuriates Maya and tells him she cannot and will never be bribed.  Despite all the drama, the two families still try to celebrate and welcome the New Year with a bang.  Reminisce the New Year episode of this version of “Be Careful With My Heart Rewind” airing on May 10, London and Pacific Time and May 11 in Sydney, Tokyo, and Riyadh.

On the third week of the kilig-serye (May 17, London and Pacific Time and May 18 Sydney, Tokyo, and Riyadh time), Maya goes back to Manila, not to come back to the Lim household but to focus on her upcoming exams for Time Airways.  Ser Chief offers Maya his home so she will no longer spend money for apartment rental.  Because of her resignation as Abby’s yaya, applicants for her replacement start filling in. But since the family has not yet decided on who will replace her, Maya volunteers to temporarily take care of Abby.  One kilig incident unfurls in this episode of the sub-titled version when during Abby’s bedtime, Maya tells a love story about a prince and a princess.  Maya is clueless that Ser Chief is actually within earshot and asks her if the prince she was talking about in the story is actually him.  Maya, caught off guard, slips and admits that it is indeed him she was talking about.

On the next episode of “BCWMH’s” sub-titled version airing on May 24 (London and Pacific Time and May 25 Sydney, Tokyo, and Riyadh time), Ser Chief and Maya bring Abby to school on her first day after the holiday break.  After dropping Abby off, Ser Chief insists on dropping Maya off as well - another certified kilig moment this month.

Also in this episode, Maya asks permission from the dean of her school to allow her to go on leave so she can study for her upcoming exam and interview.  Meanwhile at the Lim residence, Ser Chief starts to interview the next yaya for Abby. This makes the whole household very sad as that would mean saying goodbye to their beloved Maya.

In the last episode for May airing on May 31, London and Pacific time (June 1 Sydney, Tokyo, and Riyadh time), Abby is worried that she and her new yaya will not get along as much as she does with Maya.  The following day, Maya finally receives a letter from Time Airways.  Fearing the possible negative result, Maya hands the letter to Ser Chief who gives Maya his most signature grin, which means she passed her exams.  Delighted, Maya almost gives Ser Chief a hug, stops herself midway and hugs Abby instead.  Ser Chief hugs her instead and the lovable yaya is left in awe.

During Maya’s first day of training as a stewardess, she immediately notices the cold treatment from her instructor (Pinky Amador).  The instructor calls Maya in front of her co-trainees and tells her the only reason why she is in Time Airways is because of the recommendation of her former boss-turned-friend Capt. James Ventura (Luis Manzano).  This incident fuels Maya’s drive to prove that she deserves to be a stewardess of the company even more.  She even starts to ask for Ser Chief’s help in familiarizing herself with the parts and different types of aircrafts.
