The tone is clear and strong, but with grit and guts too – a great mahogany board polished smooth as glass, but still the grain is strong, swirling and proud. Alex has opened for National Touring Artists Collin Raye, Parmalee, and The Parkington Sisters. Also, Alex has been invited to perform with Legendary Country Music Icons Bill Anderson, Marty Raybon and Ken Mellons. In 2013, he performed at the Bayou Benepalooza in Slidell Louisiana with Louisiana Blues Hall of Fame member Ernie Vincent, the IMR music festival in Atlanta Georgia and the Alexander City Jazz Fest in Alexander City Alabama. Alex was also crowned the Cobb County Idol and placed 2nd in the Budweiser Guitar Challenge in Marietta Georgia that same year. In 2014, Alex has shared the stage with the world's greatest Journey tribute band DSB, Nashville Recording artists The Saints of Havanna and Blues Hall of Fame member The BLUESDOG at Jimmy Buffett’s Margarittaville in Nashville, Tennessee.
