Arrowstorm Entertainment Utilizes Crowdfunding for Mythica: a Kevin Sorbo Fantasy Series

SALT LAKE CITY - May 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Salt Lake City, Utah May 9, 2014:  Arrowstorm Entertainment (www.arrowstormentertainment.com) is currently in post-production on a fantasy series called Mythica. Arrowstorm has decided to utilize the popular crowd-sourcing website Kickstarter to complete their first film in the series. Kickstarter, which has grown tremendously in popularity over the past several years, is responsible for financing low-budget indie flicks, as well as more ambitious films such as Zach Braff’s Wish I Was Here and the newly released Veronica Mars film.

Arrowstorm producers aren’t strangers to the Kickstarter arena. They utilize the website as a method of earning pre-sales on their films, speaking directly to their market audience, and in Mythica’s case, adding in special effects of a quality that would be otherwise outside the budget, elevating Mythica to a higher tier much closer to its Hollywood big-budget competition.

Having successfully completed and fulfilled five Kickstarter campaigns to date, and earning a total of $139,975, Mythica is by far their most ambitious project to date. With a goal of $75,000, Arrowstorm has already passed the 60% mark with just under two weeks left in the running.  It has already garnered more interest, dollars-wise, than any previous project but is only just keeping pace with its percentage based on the number of days left.

Arrowstorm continues to reach out to fans of the fantasy genre and their previous films in hopes of reaching their goal and allowing Mythica to be released exactly how they envision it.
