Downtown Kannapolis Arts Festival Offers Free Vendor Space to Artists

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - May 13, 2014 - PRLog -- The cost for a vendor booth at some festivals is so high that it is nearly impossible to make up the cost with a day of sales. Artists are especially hard hit as many struggle to sell their work in today's economy. With that in mind, The Kaleidoscope Cultural Arts Festival is not charging artists for their booth space at this month's festival.

The festival is a not for profit event designed to breathe life into a commmunity of empty storefronts with a fun, family oriented festival in support of the arts. The goal is to turn the downtown Kannapolis area into a thriving arts district. On Saturday, May 31st, the now empty and quiet streets will be alive with musicians, artists, street performers, and much more. Two more events are scheduled this year on September 27th and October 25, all in support of the arts.
