Follow on Google News | Belle Fountain Rehab’s Its Facility Again!Belle Fountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center A fifty-two bed facility specializing in knee, hip and stroke rehabilitation, including physical, occupational and speech therapies, pain management, home-care assistance and intravenous therapy.
By: Market Insights, LLC When Charles Dunn, a licensed nursing home administrator with over 30 years of experience in the health care industry, purchased the center in 2006, he upgraded the image in a few short months. In 2012, with 52 beds, Dunn completed Phase One with a two million dollar makeover by updating all the short term and sub acute care facilities. In 2014, Phase Two was completed with an increase of 39 beds for a total of 91 beds. The building also expanded with 25,000 more square feet of space and a three million dollar price tag that included high end features in all areas of the structure. The therapy gym, which specializes in rehabilitation for cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic and wound care, was doubled in size. There are also three spa rooms which have heated walls, oversized shower and soaking tubs for those needing assistance and extra room. Other features include a spectacular social room with upscale dining featuring items from Chef George Carter, a lobby for family gatherings and socializing as well as an outdoor courtyard with seating for families and patients complete with palm trees and a barbeque grill. Patients’ semiprivate rooms include individual flat screen televisions, internet and telephone access, as well as built-in storage and colorful artwork on the walls. The 39 new, semi private rooms seem more spacious as they are configured to each have their own window, own heating and cooling and beds are across from each other rather than parallel. Each of these rooms has a full shower in the bath. “Our staff has doubled as well as our admissions; our facility now matches our top notch services. We are ecstatic!” Said Michele Gusik-Carter, Director of Community Relations. The Belle Fountain simple approach to healing helps its patients make the transition from surgery or injury to full recovery as quickly and effectively as possible as well as maintaining excellence in customer service by reaching 100% satisfaction with every patient. Since 2011, the State of Michigan agrees and elevated its rating to a FIVE STAR site status for the HCAM, Health care Association of Michigan. “Mr. Charles Dunn is a class act. He took care of this building and created a place for healing, when the doors could have been shut.” Said Roberta Wade, Nursing Home Administrator. “Our staff is proud to be part of his team and we refer to ourselves as Charlie’s Angels. We have a real family spirit here” Physicians on staff include medical directors Ghasson and Ghazwan Atto, M.D. and Mohamed Elnagger, M.D..
