What: Creates The 1st chapter of Women's Technology Alliance Miami ™ (WTA)

WTA is a membership base platform to bring together women entrepreneurs, technology start-ups and professional women in technology.  The organization exists to equip women with tools such as mentorships, conferences, symposiums and summits to bridge the gender gap in technology.

When: Sunday May 18, 2014

Why: As women in high level positions in the Tech industry has been down for two years straight shown in a recent pole. If we do not have more high- level role models for our girls we will continue to lag in the tech industry, says founder Eveline Pierre.

How: WTA will bridge the gender divide by giving women access into
the tech world through symposiums, conferences, summits and provide mentorship to help women navigate through the tech ecosystem.

Eveline Pierre also known as the Campaigner of Empowerment, Cultural Strategist and ART Tech Miami is an author of Amazon best selling book entitled “The Secret to Winning Big” with Brain Tracy and a speaker that is highly sought after by the media for her expertise in the Cultural Arts, Entertainment and Empowerment. Ms. Pierre uses cultural Arts, Entertainment and Technology to empower others and believes creativity is the doorway to success.Through books, seminars, and conferences Pierre is set out to Empower 1 Million people to Live Life on Purpose.

Pierre received her degree from Howard University in Political Science and resides in Miami, Florida.
