Follow on Google News | CUVR has signed a license agreement to develop and manufacture the Nymbus 650The first remotely piloted Oblique-Tilting Birotor Aircraft for the model aircraft enthusiast.
By: CUVR, Inc. Gress Aeronautics has teamed up with the Cluster for Unmanned Vehicles and Robotics (CUVR, Inc.) to make Gary’s dream a reality. The campaign aims to get the Nymbus 650 to the market and to every R/C hobbyist pilot. The Nymbus 650 is an R/C VTOL birotor of comparable size and payload capabilities to a 600-class R/C model helicopter but without the liability, complex mechanics and noise associated with a large rotor. This aircraft has an empty weight of 5.5 lbs., a flight endurance of 12 minutes without payload, and uses two 13x8 3-Blade Master Airscrew propellers. The Nymbus 650 (http://www.CUVR.org/ Gress Aeronautics and CUVR feel that this unique technology will revolutionize the hobby world and later man and unmanned flight.
