PRLog -- On June 1, 2014, the Florida Bar confirmed that Robert J. Becerra achieved board certification in International Law. Mr. Becerra is now considered a
Board Certified Specialist, or "B.C.S." in International Law. Board certification recognizes an attorney's special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice. Board certified lawyers are evaluated for professionalism, and tested for expertise. Board certified Florida Bar members are the only lawyers allowed to identify themselves as "specialists"
or "experts" in a certain area of law. By virtue of his board certification, Mr. Becerra is an expert in International Law. Mr. Becerra's practice concentrates on civil and white collar criminal litigation in state and federal courts regarding international trade, including money laundering issues, exports, imports, cargo losses, Customs seizures, FDA import detentions and civil forfeitures. Mr. Becerra is a 1990 cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law.
