June 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Agents of Al-Qaeda and jihadists inside the state machinery are exerting undue influence and pressure on Bangladeshi judiciary disrupting the release of the internationally acclaimed award winning Muslim Zionist journalist, Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, who was convicted by a court in Dhaka with rigorous imprisonment of seven years for Choudhury's writings against militant Islam, jihad, culture of hatred and anti Semitism. Shoaib Choudhury is the first Muslim Zionist in the Muslim world, demanding recognition of the State of Israel, for which Bangladeshi authorities also accused him as an Israeli spy. There had already been a number of attacks on Choudhury since 2003.

International community should come forward in saving this courageous journalist and set him free from the Bangladeshi prison. The lawyers of Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury filed the appeal with the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court on April 10th this year. But, members of his family had been asked by the government not to move this petition until the government's top policymakers give signal. They also had been told that if the petition is moved without the consent of the government, Choudhury will not get justice as the attorney general's office has already been given instructions by the government to strongly oppose any petition moved by the lawyers of this anti Jihadist journalist. It is learnt that an influential pro Jihadist forces within the state machinery are working against Shoaib Choudhury. Meanwhile, a Hindu rights group in India is expected to hold a protest rally in Kolkata demanding release of Choudhury.
