It's easy to arrive early and make a night of it when the venue includes food and drink specials every night of the week. Although known for their status as an alternative metal band, SEVENDUST has recently branched off into exploring different styles. After having released their acoustic Time Travelers & Bonfires album, they are touring to promote the new sound—sure to be a favorite among Chicago enthusiasts. Despite their metal background, critics of the new album are offering notable praise, saying that SEVENDUST “never sounds outdated,” a testament to the band's ability to adapt and change with the desires of their fans. SEVENDUST formed in 1994, composed of guitarists John Connolly and Clint Lowery, lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon, bassist Vince Hornsby, and drummer Morgan Rose, releasing their first self-titled album on April 15th, 1997.
