SpareCash App Goes Viral, Crashes Google PlayStore?

June 9, 2014 - PRLog -- From it's beginings only 34 days ago, as a Facebook page and a half completed Android app with the vision to be able to allow people to collect cash using their mobile phones in a hunt and gather fashion, SpareCash SRL has become almost an overnight success.

The Android application which is currently being ported for IOs, is being used by people around the globe to seek out, find and collect real cash using their smart phones.

"We've had people collect cash in Germany, India, Pakistan, Turkey, The United States, Canada and Romania," said company founder Dale Scott Marion. "We've been dropping cash steadily since we launched 4 days ago."

Collections are mostly posted on the companies Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/SpareCashApp Although some cash collectors have asked to remain anonymous.

The company just today released a post that they had filled almost every country in the world with cash, and then something amazing happened.

Dale said, "I posted the cash in hundreds of countries, where I thought people could use it most.  mainly developing countries and places that were recovering from disasters. Then I posted a list of the countries in Facebook and used the Facebook Boost Post option, then I went outside to hang out with my family."

Only a few hours had passed when Dale returned to his computer to check some email.

"I'd been receiving tons of emails since this thing started, from people thanking me for the money and people who want to be involved in finding sponsors and getting local businesses involved. but what I saw when I looked in my email were messages from Facebook saying so and so and 1300 other people liked SpareCash. I checked the Facebook page and my first thought was... Oh My God! I hope I didn't crash the Google PlayStore."  said Marion

Luckily, Google's Playstore didn't skip a beat and everyone requesting download of the app had it delivered just fine according to the SpareCash App statistics.

Dale added, "I really just want to thank everyone for their support, and I'm so glad we can help people with this application, it was the goal from the beginning, and it;s nice to see others around the world benefiting from the concept even in physical form."

Marion makes reference to envelope stuffers who had come forward a little less then 2 weeks ago with cash drops making headline news.

"I personally don't care that we came out first or who seeded the idea of giving cash out for no apparent reason whatsoever, but, what we've built through SpareCash lets anyone place cash anywhere in the world, for people to hunt for, find and collect using their mobile phones." Marion stated.
