Birchwood Lighting, Inc. Announces New National Sales Manager

SANTA ANA, Calif. - June 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Birchwood Lighting is proud to announce that Robin Altena has joined the family in the position of National Sales Manager.  Robin will work out of our Southern California location and report directly to Steve Koch, Vice President of Sales.

Most recently, Robin served as the Western Regional Sales Manager in the OEM division of Osram Sylvania.  Prior to that he spent time as a Regional Sales Manager with Hubbell Lighting and Ledtronics.  All of this experience has given him tremendous technical knowledge in the lighting industry and, more specifically, solid state lighting.

“Robin not only brings a strong sales background, but an amazing technical knowledge that will contribute to our continued growth in LED lighting,” explained Darrin Weedon, President/C.V.O. of Birchwood Lighting.

Mr. Altena’s main focus will be to work with the sales agencies around the U.S. and Canada to make sure that they are up to speed with the always progressing environment at the factory.  Because of his background and broad LED knowledge, he will also be involved in new product development, as are most Birchwood Lighting family members.

Appropriately enough, Robin’s first day with the company will be the opening day of Lightfair.  He will be in our booth, number 3418.
