Seed Of Hope Foundation Announces 5 Year Anniversary Gala

WESTCHESTER, Ill. - June 12, 2014 - PRLog -- For the past five years, Seed of Hope Foundation has been empowering teen girls and young women through its Life 101: Building a Foundation program.  "Our vision is to create emotionally intelligent leaders of excellence and integrity for the generations to come," says executive director Gwendolyn L. Young.

We are so excited to have traveling from Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Nadia Brown, a leadership expert, speaker, and author. She is the founder of Doyenne Leadership, a leadership development firm dedicated to helping female professionals make their mark as leaders. Dr. Nadia is also the author of the new book Leading Like a Lady: How to Shatter Your Inner Glass Ceiling and is a contributing author of Hopelifter: Creative Ways to Spread Hope When Life Hurts.  "How fitting that she will be our speaker for the evening."

The gala follows a full-day leadership conference for teen girls throughout the Chicagoland community that focuses on Manifesting the Dream through Health, Wealth, and Wisdom.  This is not fundraising as usual, this is a celebration of impacting the lives of our youth and creating emotionally intelligent leaders for the generations to come.
