VENTURA, Calif. - June 12, 2014 - PRLog -- VenturaCountyWest (Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura) will be showcasing the region’s filming locations as a sponsor of the June 28 California Locations Conference taking place at the Hollywood Museum.

         “Our goal is to bring more film companies to our area with crews staying at our member hotels, motels and inns,” says Rebekah Evans, executive director of the Ventura County Lodging Association, which spearheads the VenturaCountyWest marketing efforts. “We have such a variety of site options from rugged terrain, pristine beaches, harbors and agriculture to historic buildings, quaint downtowns and commercial and residential properties.”

         VenturaCountyWest is already a popular filming destination. Recently, VenturaCountyWest cities have been the filming location for such shows as NCIS, House Hunters International, American Dream Builders, Operation Repo and 48 Hours.
