Silicon Valley Professor to Release New Book on the Psychology of Happiness on June 27th

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - June 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Professor Galindo has spent the last several years introducing the psychology of happiness to students in the classroom. Beginning this summer he will be sharing key insights from his courses to readers all over the world with the June 27^th release of his new book, “Authentic Happiness in Seven Emails: A philosopher’s simple guide to the psychology of joy, satisfaction, and a meaningful life” (14.95 paperback, Enlightened Hyena Press).

“There is so much useful information out there on how to achieve real, long-lasting happiness that a person can quickly get lost trying to make sense of it all,” says Galindo. “My goal with this book was to expose readers to this information in a digestible way so that it is not just easy to understand, but also easily actionable.”

The Sunnyvale resident claims that while many people struggle in their pursuit of happiness, research shows that happiness is more of a choice than a goal to pursue.

The truth seems to be that happiness is not something to search for, but the result of how we choose to experience the world. And the choice to experience a happy life is one that we can all learn to make.”
