Congrats COSL for Commencing Construction of New Jack-up Rig

LANGFANG, China - June 22, 2014 - PRLog -- By end of last month, COSL, China Oilfield Service Limited, one of the largest oilfield service solution providers, has commenced its construction project of new jack-up rig.

Comparing with the existing jack up rigs now commonly used, this newly designed jack up rig is more acknowledged by international high-end clients who set higher standards for services and solutions. This jack up rig can be used for conditions with water depth up to 400 feet while drilling depth up to 30000 feet. COSL team has been working with this design for really a while and it is scheduled to come true by next year.

COSL is one of the largest clients of GN Solids Control. GN sincerely congrats for the accomplishment COSL has got and will get. Now the 4 complete solids control systems GN produces for COSL is under production. Those solids control systems for oil drilling rigs are for 40 rigs.


Each rig solids control system include following sections:

1.       Shale shaker tank, with main equipment shale shaker GNZS703E-HB and GNZCQ270A vacuum degasser.

2.       Active tank, with a GN mud cleaner GNZJ703E-2S12N, which plays roles as both desander and desilter and their feeding pumps.

3.       Decanter tank, with GNLW452 decanter centrifuge and its feeding pump.

4.       Mixing tank, with 2 sets of GN mixing hoppers and feeding pumps.
