![]() Operation Wedding Gown Brings Free Gowns to Military BridesOperation Wedding Gown events in July & launches new commemorative coin.
By: Brides Across America 501(c)(3) From Coast to Coast, 32 bridal salons in 21 states will join the efforts by giving away free designer wedding gowns to military brides. To date, Brides Across America has donated over 12,000 wedding gowns from prominent designers. The donated gowns are valued between $500 and $4,000 and range in size. In order to qualify, brides or their fiancé must be serving in the military; either currently deployed, have a future deployment, or have been deployed within the last five years to Iraq, Afghanistan, Middle East, Korea, or Japan. Brides must pre-register for the event and bring proper identification along with deployment papers to be presented the day of the event. Commemorative Coin: Brides Across America launches its first commemorative coin to assist BAA brides in their wedding planning needs by providing discounts to local and national merchants. Each coin purchased will provide a special code for its exclusive members to be part of this growing community. The commemorative coin launches today and is a limited edition.
