CruCon® Cruise Outlet World Headquarters Now Open

LACONIA, N.H. - July 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Sandra Cleary, owner and President of CruCon^® Cruise Outlet, unveiled her new world headquarters on Whittier Highway in Moultonborough, NH with opening festivities held June 27-June 29^th with over 2500 in attendance. The rapidly growing business is a specialty cruise travel agency that was founded by Cleary in 1995 and will grow to a team of approximately 150 in 2014.

Cleary and her CruCon^® team are well known in the travel industry as a world leader in cruise travel and was honored on June 11, 2014 with Vacation.com’s highest honor of the 2014 U.S. Agency Chairman’s Award, for the 4^th straight year. The New Hampshire cruise travel agency has been awarded the prestigious Chairman’s Award from Celebrity and Royal Caribbean International, topping over 40,000 other agencies in North America.   CruCon was noted as one of the top five women-led companies in New Hampshire by Business NH Magazine, and in February of 2014, Cleary was honored by the New Hampshire Business Review with the 2014 Outstanding Women in Business Award.

The unveiling of the 30,000 sq. ft. complex was held over the weekend with a Friday night Friends and Family event, a VIP event on Saturday night and the Open House event on Sunday. According to Cleary, much of her success is the extensive training each employee receives.  “We provide the highest level of concierge-style service and our team is well-trained to provide just that,” states Cleary. CruCon has over 300,000 clients in North America and their clients seldom visit the office as their services are all provided via phone and email.  The new building that features an auditorium complete with stage and electronic presentation capabilities as well as a recreation room, exercise room with men’s and women’s locker rooms and showers, and a staff lounge is solely for the expansion of staff and the need for a place to provide the extensive training from which every employee benefits. Many of the current employees have been with the company over 10 years and this state-of-the-art building is another reward to them for their years of service, and to provide a pleasant work environment.

“It was an honor for me to showcase CruCon Cruise Outlet to the cruise lines that we represent,” Cleary reports. Executives from Norwegian Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Celebrity, Viking River Cruises, Cunard, Princess, Oceania, Travelzoo, and Vacation.com flew in for the celebration from their locations all over the USA.  Travelzoo executives presented Cleary with their “Best of” award for the sixth straight year. The award is determined by the vote of some 12 million Travelzoo subscribers.

The contractor for the project was Jason Drouin Custom Homes, LLC located in Gilford, NH and the design was by Chester, NH Architect Dann Norris Batting.
