Leading casual dining brand chooses Veitchi

PETERBOROUGH, U.K. - July 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Following an extended period of closure, one of the UK’s leading casual dining brands has recently been brought back to life by Veitchi Industrial Flooring who offered their expert advice in this major renovation project and recommended a flooring solution tough enough to cope with future demands of this busy leisure environment.

Veitchi Industrial Flooring Ltd work extensively in the commercial catering and hotel industry and through their contacts were approached to help with the refurbishment of a site that had been closed as the result of a fire.  The high profile city centre location required a ground up strip out and re-fit and the client required ‘only the best’ to ensure that, once open, the site could operate unhindered for many years to come.

Based on their experience in the industry and given the success to date using Degafloor systems, Charles Harte of Veitchi had no hesitation in recommending the fast curing slip resistant Degafloor QT system. The installation team from Veitchi installed the Degafloor QT system to the kitchen, food preparation, cellar, storage and circulation areas within the restaurant and the total installation took just 2 days.  To provide the perfect balance between slip resistance and cleanability, Veitchi employed a proprietary technique to enhance the texture of the standard QT system to ensure the floor met the client’s exact requirements.

During a pre-opening inspection, the restaurant’s General Manager commented that ‘this is the best resin floor I have seen and I am sure we will be using you again’, which is testament to the skills and experience of Veitchi and a reflection of their leading position in the industry.
