QUEENS, N.Y. - July 3, 2014 - PRLog -- It's official.... versatile author and playwright, Gregory L. Hudson will return to the famed Brooklyn Book Festival on Sunday, Setember 21, 2014. The festival is from 10am to 6pm  at Brooklyn Borough Hall and Plaza, 209 Joralemon Street, Brooklyn NY 11201 "Rain or Shine!" http://www.brooklynbookfestival.org/

If you have never attended the Brooklyn Book Festival....you should; it is simply spectacular---the book festival of all book festivals. It is eloquently laid out in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, New York.

"The Brooklyn Book Festival is the largest free literary event in New York City, presenting an array of national and international literary stars and emerging authors. One of America’s premier book festivals, this hip, smart diverse gathering attracts thousands of book lovers of all ages to enjoy authors and the festival’s lively literary marketplace."

It's not everyday that you can find such an event "free", "family friendly", and where you can meet your favorite author or new and upcoming authors.

"I made my first appearance to the Brooklyn Book Festival last year (2013) and it was awesome! After traveling around the country attending other book festivals, I decided to stay closer to home and was I delighted. The festival is very well organized, the authors were very friendly, the atmostphere was festive and alive. For the first time in all of the book festivals that I've participated in---an organizer (Tom McGinn) made it a point to come by my author's booth and personally welcome me to the BBF."

One thing that stands out at the BBF from other book festivals is the customer traffic. It must have been more than 40,000 people moving thoughout the festival and that is music to an author's ear. People were laughing, authors were selling and signing books, and talking ... and taking pictures with their fans/customers, and the whole atmostphere was electric!

"This year I will have more copies of "48 Poems" because I didn't have enough copies last year. I've never really promoted "48 Poems" because I was so busy writing other books and working on other projects when it was released. I did get a chance to read some of the poems for the first time in public at Jamaica Center for the Arts & Learning (JCAL) earlier this year and that was a blast! Also, book lovers are able to get a signed copy for about $30 as opposed to the retail price of about $60 or $70 dollars on Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. Actors and directors....not to worry. I will also have copies of my books, 'Monologues: Dramatic Monologues For Actors' and 'Showtime: Comedic Acting Scenes for Two Actors.' My captivating book, 'Why I Sued Eddie Murphy' will also be available. For those interested in any of my books but cannot visit the BBF, go to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or your favorite bookstore."  http://www.newstyleent.com/nse-store.html

Book lovers and the general public should mark this date on their calendar of things to do this year and get their families and children out to this event.
