Created with the user experience firmly in mind, the website has been designed using the latest responsive design practices and Drupal platform. TBC partnered with COCG, a digital marketing and design company in Raleigh, N.C., to design and build the new and improved website. Their efforts resulted in a website that dynamically responds to the device screen size and browsing preferences of their users.

The design enhancement makes it very easy for users to find information on TBC products. “We are extremely thrilled to launch our new website,” said Beth Green, Director of Marketing. “For us, it is more than a website; it is an extension of our experienced sales and customer service teams. We hope the new website will help TBC become more accessible and available to our customers by providing current, relevant, and timely information.”

Some of the favorites from the previous legacy TBC website will still be available, but with dramatic enhancements. Where to Buy, formerly known as the Dealer Locator, is now equipped with a geo-location tool that can track the current location of the user and find a local dealer or distributor within their preferred travel radius. “We are proud to work with many dealers and distributors in over 30 states throughout the US. This tool is an easy way for online visitors to locate a brick showroom where they can conveniently view the latest Triangle Brick Company products,” said Mike Renaker, Director of National Sales at TBC.

Users will also be able to quickly locate examples of TBC brick on existing projects through the user-friendly Google mapping feature and detailed dealer listing with the View Brick Locally function. This feature now contains a geo-location tool, Google mapping feature and address listing of brick favorites. “We want to provide convenience for online shoppers who may not be able to visit the design center in Durham, N.C.,” stated Ken Holland, Director of North Carolina Sales at TBC, “this type of function makes it easy for consumers to personally view projects showcasing our products in-person.”

An impressive functional enhancement is the new Browse Bricks tool. Users can easily browse through all of the brick choices on-by-one. Or with the custom filter function, they may find the bricks easily by updating their preferences in the following ways: by brick collection(s), brick size(s) preferred, color family(s), classification or specialty. Once the user has found their perfect brick(s), they will be able to share brick profiles through Facebook, Pinterest and email. There is also a downloadable PDF available for print or email.

Among many innovative features on the new website is the enhanced Triangle Brick Blog. The blog will feature posts about brick care and maintenance, why “Brick is Boss”, design resources, FAQs, Triangle Brick news and other posts about all things brick.
