The 2014 RBS Achievers of the Year Awards will take place August 17th-20th in conjunction with The Barclays in New York City. Created by The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in 2004, the award has recognized outstanding youth of The First Tee network and helps fund their ongoing education after high school. Two of the ten winners will be named RBS Achievers of the Year finalists and receive a $15,000 award for ongoing education. Each of the eight semifinalists will receive a $3,000 award for ongoing educational pursuits. The program rewards deserving young people for accomplishments in their daily lives while overcoming difficult circumstances and is not based on academic achievements or exceptional golf skills. The goal of the award is to positively impact youth by rewarding participants for exemplifying one or more of The First Tee Nine Core Values™ which are: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy and Judgment. Narcisse competed in the 2013 Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, an official Champions Tour event, which was televised nationally on the Golf Channel. He won the first tournament he ever played in 2003 when he was only 6 years old and recently won The First Tee of Fort Worth Club Championship, shooting a 37, 72 in the 14-18 age group.
