Conyers-Rockdale Council for the Arts Presents: An Evening of Jazz with Dexter Tolson and Friends

ATLANTA - July 17, 2014 - PRLog -- (Conyers, GA) - The Conyers-Rockdale Council for the Arts (CRCA) Presents: An Evening of Jazz with Dexter Tolson and Friends August 9^th at 8:00pm artists include Dexter Tolson Saxophone’s rhythmic emotions, Beat master Bobby Henderson, Bass expressionist Roland Beard and Keyboard wizard Anthony (Tony) Carter.

The 2014-2015 season Kicks-off with Dexter Tolson and Friends for an evening of Traditional, Smooth and R&B Jazz inviting music lovers of all ages, family-friendly evening concert.  “We are excited that Dexter Tolson and Friends will be our first performance of the new season and looking forward to a great show” said CRCA Director Jackie Sprague.  Ticket window opens at 7:00pm, doors open at 7:30pm and the show begins at 8:00pm Center Street Arts 910 Center Street Conyers, GA 30012. Dexter Tolson & Friends, the Atlanta based band thrives playing a fusion of funk, compiles an arrangement of felicitous jazz, and gets down with Rhythm & Blues that wake maestros of yesterday from eternal slumber to shin dig with the living. Their music resonates with the likes of Grover Washington Jr, Gerald Albright, and Kirk Whalum. Dexter Tolson & Friends performs all over the Atlanta area and Southeast Region.  You may have seen the band perform at The Calabar & Grill in Stone Mountain, Footprints Café in Lawrenceville for Rene Miller Majic 107.5 and several other venues in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
