Srikanth Achanta: Adventurous World Traveler

July 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Mr. Srikanth Achanta is inspired by the influential figures who have transformed society.  From Jack Welch, one of the world’s top CEO’s, who is known for his winning management style to Martin Luther King Jr. and his civil rights message for bringing society together to Mahatma Gandhi for inspiring freedom and civil rights across the globe to Steve Jobs’ and Bill Gates’ significant contributions to the world as innovative inventors and entrepreneurs in technology, Mr. Srikanth Achanta would like to follow in their footsteps.  In addition to being influenced by their accomplishments, Srikanth Achanta is also influenced by their philanthropic giving to society.
Srikanth Achanta received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in India.  He also holds a Master’s degree from the University of Florida in Industrial and Systems Engineering.   Following that experience, he earned his MBA from the University of Houston.  Srikanth is fluent in speaking English, Hindi, and Telugu.
Srikanth Achanta is also a world traveler.  He has been to numerous countries throughout Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.  Before living in the United States, he has lived in both Dubai and India.  He loves to experience different cultures, as well as learn from and meet new people all across the world.  He is very proud of his achievements, and continues to do his best every day.
He is very thankful to have two beautiful, smart children.  On a personal level, Srikanth Achanta is heavily influenced by his father because he always set a good example in becoming a self-made businessman, and through hard work and determination, he became a successful CEO.  As a result, Srikanth’s goal is also to become a successful CEO in corporate America. Srikanth hopes to inspire his children to become good citizens just as his father had inspired him.
When not traveling the globe and working, he maintains a very active lifestyle through jogging, weight lifting, and exercising at the gym.  During his university years, he not only dedicated his time to his academic studies, he also was the captain of his cricket team.  For those unfamiliar with cricket, it is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of 11 players each.  One team bats, with the objective to achieve runs, while the other bowls and fields the ball, attempting to restrict the scoring and dismiss the batsmen.  The objective of the game is for a team to score more runs than its opponent.
He is proud to support various organizations that are close to his heart.  From the American Heart Association to United Way, he is committed to raising awareness for the health and well-being of people everywhere.  The goals of United Way are to spark a global social movement through mobilizing millions to participate in giving, advocating, and volunteering to improve the conditions that they live in, bring together all areas of society from individuals to non-profit organizations, to governments to businesses to create long-term social change that creates healthy, well-educated, and financially stable families and individuals.

He has also supported organizations advocating quality education for children in India.  He feels very fortunate and blessed to be able to donate his time to help give back to the community both locally and abroad.
