Brooklyn Queens Nursing Home Proudly Announces it is Observing Healthcare Hospitality Week 2014

July 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Brooklyn, NY (July 2014) - With summer well underway, Healthcare Hospitality Week is almost here. On July 20th though the 26th Brooklyn Queens Nursing Home will open its doors and welcome physicians, nurses, social workers and the general public, along with friends and family, to come and explore their beautiful home and rehab center and experience the new additions and amenities.

Brooklyn Queens Nursing Home provides 140 beds and offers around the clock personal attention and care to each resident. Individual regiments and schedules are created to help them recoup and regain total independence. One of the distinct features is the unit within the facility, which caters specifically to the needs of short-term patients while they transition back to the community. The focus is on programs to reestablish activities of daily living for our patients. To do so they offer occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy. They also provide services for their long-term patients for those who suffer from Alzheimer's and Dementia.
