iWave ships the Vybrid development kits with Linux OS

BANGALORE, India - July 28, 2014 - PRLog -- iWave started shipping its latest development Kit based on the Freescale’s Vybrid VF6xx processors. The development kit is equipped with the Vybrid SOM which supports the Vybrid VF6xx CPU, 256MB DDR3, 256MB NAND Flash and the carrier board equipped with several IO features.

Linux 3.0.15 kernel based BSP is supported for the development kit with the following features:

·         Debug Console Port

·         Standard SD Port

·         USB 2.0 Host & device Ports

·         Dual 10/100 Ethernet ports

·         Audio Codec

·         4.3” (480x272) RBG TFT display

·         I2C resistive touch controller

The kits are available in two different configurations for ordering. One is with 4.3” resistive touch TFT display and the other is without the LCD display.

The development kit is ideal for quick prototyping for various applications that includes Industrial process control & Kiosks, Smart grid, medical/healthcare devices and smart connected gadgets. The development kit helps the customer to accelerate the product design cycle considerably and helps to bring the product to market quickly.
