ACCA partners with Jain University, to offer globally recognized accountancy qualification

DELHI, India - Aug. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) today announced its partnership with Bangalore’s prestigious institute, Jain University to offerits globally acknowledged accountancy courses. With this tie-up, the Students of the institute have an opportunity to earn a degree and ACCA’s professional accountancy qualification by the time they graduate.

ACCA has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the institution to roll out its courses. Students at Jain University will be able to complete the ACCA Qualification exams, which are based on International Financial Reporting Standards, along with their regular degree course. India’s accounting standards will converge with IFRS in the next two years. The course offered by ACCA for Accountancy exams will be equivalent to a UK’s Masters Degree.

Jain University is a leader in learning, research and development. The University currently offers over 180 innovative programmes at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research levels.
