Follow on Google News | Sacred Heart School President Pamela Desmarais interviewed by WPLM "South of Boston" radio programBy: Sacred Heart School Kingston Desmarais, at the helm of Sacred Heart for three years, spoke about the history of the school, which was founded in 1947 by the Sisters of Divine Providence to educate pre-kindergarten and kindergarten age students; over the next 14 years the Sisters built both the High School and Elementary school in Kingston. Today, as a private co-educational Catholic school system, Sacred Heart offers educational opportunities for students of all faiths and backgrounds throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod in preschool through grade 12. Desmarais addressed the school’s renovated observatory and recent million dollar renovation of its science labs during the popular program hosted by Plymouth resident Charlie Gilmore. She also spoke about Sacred Heart’s state-of-the- A resident of Hingham, Desmarais is a 1982 graduate of Sacred Heart High School and holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA from Holy Cross College. Prior to joining Sacred Heart in 2011, she was President of Antenna Audio, North America and Chief Operating Officer for Antenna Audio Worldwide, a San Francisco-based international multimedia company. “It was a wonderful opportunity to be a guest on this highly recognized program and to share information about the history, present programs and plans for the future at Sacred Heart School,” said Desmarais.
