Remodelers Construction Award Winners Announced in Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties

DURHAM, N.C. - Aug. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- For many homeowners, finding a local contractor for the remodel of their home can be a daunting task. Without having a referral, the majority turn to searching the internet for someone in their area and hoping for the best. With the goal of connecting professional remodelers with local homeowners, the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties put on its third annual Remodeler’s Outstanding Construction (ROC) Awards. These awards are designed to showcase outstanding remodeling contractors and the projects they’ve been working on, highlighting their presence in the industry and giving homeowners an idea of who (and what) to look for in their home renovation project.

This year’s ROC Awards featured 11 winners in multiple categories, including Bath Remodels, Interior Design, Flooring & Tile, and Major Renovation. All entries were scored on-site by volunteer judges, and awards were presented at The Cookery in Durham, NC on Wednesday, August 6^th.

“Major Renovation: Energy Efficiency” – M Squared Builders & Designers

“Major Renovation: Best Practices” – Collins Design-Build

“Major Renovation: Interior Specialty” – Hauser Building Company

“Major Renovation: Category Highest Score” – L.E. Meyers Builders
