WHY: Hayes Mechanical joins LuMind Foundation to fund cognition development research to open opportunities for people with Down syndrome, including funding research to help offset early Alzheimer’s disease, prevalent in most people with Down syndrome. The cognition research we fund may be beneficial to the greater Alzheimer’s community. After only ten years, our funded research has led to nine drug targets and four clinical trials – an unprecedented speed of discovery.
