Labor Day is Last Day for Summer Recreation at Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort

LAS VEGAS - Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- The 2014 summer season at Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort (LVSSR) ends on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1. Summer season activities include scenic chairlift rides, hiking, disc golf and mountain biking on the nearby Bristlecone Trail. Guests can enjoy lunch at the Bighorn Grill, drinks from the Bristlecone Bar and relax on the patio complete with tailgating games like cornhole and Giant Jenga.  LVSSR is also used as a high-altitude training ground for many athletes and fitness enthusiasts. A pet-friendly area, it is the ideal place to escape the city heat. The resort, located at 6725 Lee Canyon Rd., is open for summer activities Friday, Aug. 29 through Monday, Sept. 1, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..

Summer Activity Pricing:

Chairlift Rides: $10 adults, $5 children 6-12, free for children under 5

Disc Golf (includes chairlift ride, 2 discs rental, and course map):$17

Disc Golf Season Pass (non-transferable): $50

2014/15 season pass holders ride for free, excluding special event days

Guests can pick up 2014/15 winter season passes at the Winter Season Pass Pickup on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at REI in Summerlin (710 S. Rampart Blvd.). Those who purchase their winter season passes during the event receive a 20 percent discount coupon to REI. Summer sale pricing on winter season passes is available online, now through Sept. 30, at www.skilasvegas.com. Regular priced 2014/15 season passes can be purchased online starting on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
