Wild Orchid Salon + Spa Opens 3rd Location in Westlake Area of Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - Aug. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- August 28, 2014 - Austin, Texas – Wild Orchid Salon is excited to announce a new salon and spa serving West Austin along the Capital of Texas Highway corridor.

The new Wild Orchid Salon + Spa, located at the southwest corner of Capital of Texas highway and Westlake Drive, will be its third location. The new salon and spa will open with 6 styling stations, private treatment room and a stylish and comfortable reception area. It is sure to become a popular hair and skin care destination for West Austin residents and the thousands working along the corridor during the week.

“When we took over the original Wild Orchid Salon, we were a small salon with 3 styling stations.” says Danielle Benson, Wild Orchid CEO and Master Stylist. “Since then we have grown our first location to 5 established and award winning stylists, opening up a new location in the Bee Cave-Lakeway area and expanding into skin care and lash services through the fantastic support of Wild Orchid clients and stylists. With the rapid success of our Bee Cave-Lakeway salon +spa and the unique opportunity presented to us for the new Westlake location, We decided to take what we have learned over the years and open a new salon and spa that we know residents in Westlake and West Austin neighborhoods will love.”

The Wild Orchid Salon + Spa Westlake location is scheduled to open Tuesday, September 9^th fully staffed with 5 full-time and 3 part-time-established hair stylists, Salon Apprentice, Front Desk Coordinator and an Esthetician and Lash Extension technician.  After being approached about taking over the space formerly occupied by Pearl Salon and Skin Studio, the Wild Orchid team began the process of researching the competition in the surrounding area and the demographics of the nearby businesses and neighborhoods.  Careful consideration was given to the needs of the clients and staff of both the salon and spa to create chic yet comfortable atmosphere. The team also worked to efficiently accommodate the needs of the staff and therapists behind the scenes to further enhance the Wild Orchid experience.  The space is currently undergoing a significant refresh including fresh and vibrant paint, new shampoo units and new HVAC system to keep clients cool during Texas summers. Wild Orchid’s team of experienced, Master Stylists will develop and provide continuing education to the team to further enhance their skills and knowledge.

The new location will provide a beautiful experience in the front of the house and back. Countless hours have been spent researching a new hair care product line and a skin care line ensuring that our clients will have a better experience during treatment. The focus of the spa treatments will be skin correction and wellness along with lash extension and hair removal service offerings.  Wild Orchid continues to refine the client experience both in the salon spa and initiatives to provide after-care knowledge and resources for the client to use after their service.

We can’t wait to share the new location with our current and future clients. The Wild Orchid has another exciting announcement to follow in the coming days which will continue Wild Orchid’s efforts to set itself apart from other Austin salon and spas.
