IntegraCare names co-founder Loriann Putzier as President and COO

PITTSBURGH - Sept. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Loriann Putzier co-founded IntegraCare in 1999, aiming to establish a group of senior living communities known as both a great place to work and a great place to live.

    Fifteen years later, IntegraCare operates 12 communities in Pennsylvania and Maryland that provide a spectrum of senior living options ranging from independent living to assisted living and memory care. IntegraCare is also active in the senior living development and acquisition market.

    “So much of today’s business culture plays to the middle of the road, but you have to be willing to take risks to achieve excellence and success,” said Putzier. “That doesn’t mean there won’t be failures, but you take those failures, find the life learning point, and use it as a stepping stone toward your next success.”

    IntegraCare has seen its share of success.

    As IntegraCare continues to build toward the future during a milestone 15^th anniversary year, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Richard Irwin announced that Putzier has been named President and Chief Operating Officer at IntegraCare.

    “Loriann’s vision and leadership has enabled IntegraCare to become a leader in the senior living industry,” Irwin said. “We’ve taken once-struggling communities and provided our vision, our principles and especially our hard work. We’ve repositioned and renovated many communities, transforming them into state-of-the-art, distinctive and affordable senior living communities.”

    Irwin also announced that Eric Stotlz has been promoted to Executive Vice President, and Megan Campbell has been named Senior Vice President of Operations. Stoltz and Campbell each already had been part of the IntegraCare senior leadership team.

    “We are grateful for all the contributions and sacrifice of our team members,” Irwin said. “These promotions reflect the dedication and contributions of an exceptional group of people.”

  Putzier began her career by spending seven years at National Health Management (NHM), after which she and Irwin became business partners. They recognized the industry was experiencing dynamic changes and that to be a provider of choice, they had to adapt. Putzier and Irwin formed IntegraCare, which currently has 650 employees and serves more than 800 seniors and their families.

    “We have built a team of talented and dedicated individuals,” Putzier said. “We accomplished this by creating an environment and culture in which our team members want to stay and work at IntegraCare.
