Striking Out For Sickle Cell Disease…One Pin at a Time

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Sept. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Blessed Miracles Foundation presents its first event to raise awareness about Sickle Cell Disease, called “Striking Out For Sickle Cell Disease…One Pin at a Time” Bowling Event. It will be held on Saturday, September 13^th, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Liberty Lanes, 3200 North Palafox Street in Pensacola, Florida.

“We are so excited about our first event for Blessed Miracles Foundation and to promote awareness for Sickle Cell Disease. We are hoping that we can inform, educate, and raise funds to help those in need of assistance to maintain their quality of life with the disease,” said Twanna House, Public Relations Coordinator for the event.

September is Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month. House said she hopes this event will be a successful beginning for Blessed Miracles Foundation. The organization was founded in 2014 by Shaquansia Love, a Sickle Cell Survivor. She was diagnosed at the age of 4 years old. Through several near-death experiences and struggles, she strives to lead a normal life and accomplish many things with the help of God and support of her family and friends. She hopes to help Sickle Cell Survivors to do the same through the Blessed Miracles Foundation.

Registration fee is $20 for adults and $10 for children. All proceeds will go toward Blessed Miracles Foundation.
