Clicue has renovated itself as Gesture Controlled Website with its Project Gest

Project Gest (http://clicue.com/labs/Project-Gest.html) is an experiment which was being developed under Clicue IT Solutions’ Clicue Labs division. The name of Project Gest was devised on the concept of its working and functionalities as it is oriented to be intuitive with hand gestures. Project Gest was aimed to make Clicue IT Solutions website more intuitive and gesture controlled website. On Sep 14, 2014, Clicue has launched its renovated website and also introduced Gesture Controlled Website concept with its Project Gest. This is 1^st time any technology company has come out with such a great idea. Through Project Gest, Clicue has represented itself as 1^st Technology Website with Gesture Control.

As per the company sources, Clicue has already reached with its Project Gest – Gesture Controlled Website concept to more than 10K people within 11 hours after its launch covering its Social Media, Online & Offline Marketing efforts. It has exponentially reached over 3.7K people on Facebook after only 3 hours of its launch.

On this event PRLog tried to reach out to company for its comments. Below is the excerpt of the communication with Mr. Bhanu Gupta, Co-Founder & CTO of Clicue:

Q: For Project Gest – Gesture Controlled Website, user needs to use any device to operate the website?

A: No, the website doesn’t require any device to operate it. The website uses the webcam of the user’s device PC or laptop. Once the user open’s Project Gest’s Gesture Controlled interface, the user is asked to allow webcam access. Once user allows webcam access then user can operate the interface with hand gestures.

Q: That sounds quite creative. Is there any demo where user can get the idea to operate the website?

A: Yes, the demo video of Project Gest is put on company’s Youtube, Dailymotion and Vimeo channels for the user’s ease. Also the link of the demo video on Clicue’s youtube channel is directly linked up with Project Gest’s Gesture Controlled interface in the start only so that user can easily get the idea of it.

Q: That is great! While interacting with Project Gest – Gesture Controlled interface, what things user needs to keep in mind?

A: 1. Gesture controlled interfaces has been provided on Project Gest (http://clicue.com/labs/Project-Gest.html) page only.

2. There should be webcam in the user’s system on which the user wants to interact with the interface.

3. There should be enough light so that webcam can detect the hand gestures.

4. The user needs to do hand movements in right way.

Q: Sounds nice. Apart from Project Gest, what else Clicue has in its basket?

A: Clicue has recently launched its subsidiary Clicue Entertainment (http://clicue.com/entertainment/Clicue-Entertainment.html) under which Clicue is working on Project Pragma (http://clicue.com/labs/Project-Pragma.html). Project Pragma would be launched as Dark Death (http://clicue.com/products/Dark-Death-The-Game.html) – an aesthetically designed grey-scaled 2D platform game on PC, Web & Mobile platforms.
