Eurotech: Makoto Naito appointed CEO and Representative Director of Advanet Inc

COLUMBIA, Md. - Sept. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded systems, M2M platforms and IoT solutions, today announced they have appointed Makoto “Mac” Naito as Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director of Advanet Inc.. Under this role, Mr. Naito will lead the Japanese subsidiary of the Group with a stronger effort on both the integration with the rest of the Group and the cross-selling of complementary products coming from the other subsidiaries in Europe and the US. Mr. Naito will be as well Group Vice President of Japan Operations.

During Advanet’s Shareholders Meeting that will approve 2014 financial statements, Makoto Naito will be also appointed as President of Advanet Inc.. Ludovico Ciferri, now President of Advanet Inc., will become Chairman of the Board of the company.

Makoto Naito is a talented and experienced business leader who is well-known within the Japan computing/technology market. He has successfully managed teams of over 2,500 people. His core strengths include strategy, leadership, top-down sales and operations. Before joining Advanet Inc., Makoto Naito lead CA Technologies Japan as the Area Vice President, President & Representative Director. Prior to that, Mr. Naito held several important positions in leading international companies. His track record over the last thirteen years include: Executive Corporate Director and General Manager of North Asia Public at Dell Japan; Country President for Schneider Electric Group Japan; President of APC Japan; Executive of IBM Japan; President & Representative Director of Candle Japan; Vice President in Broadband IP Services of NTT Communications; President & Representative of the Board of Akamai Japan. Additionally, Makoto Naito spent over twenty years at Sony Corporation, where he achieved the role of Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
