Superior Wideband SIGINT in a Low-Profile Package from COMINT Consulting and Protium Technologies

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Sept. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- COMINT Consulting announced the launch of their new Krypto1000 SIGINT software suite for fall 2014 and its compatibility with the P6020 wideband digitized tuner/receiver from Protium Technologies, Inc.

Krypto1000 offers a growing collection of VHF-SHF decoders for wideband signals 48 kHz in bandwidth and larger plus advanced signal classification that allows intelligence officers to identify specific equipment, specific variants and submodes of that equipment – and specific users. This level of detail was previously only available for narrowband signals with the Krypto500 application suite.

The ultra SWaP design makes it possible to run multiple instances of Krypto1000 on a single input channel while remaining under 10% CPU, making it an excellent match for the P6020.

Protium’s new miniature brick is a lightweight, low-SWaP tuner-receiver that excels in high density, high-level signal environments, covering the frequency range of 20 to 6000 MHz. The P6020 offers a comprehensive VTF and sub-octave pre-selection, coupled with a strong triple balanced first mixer and a low phase noise LO synthesizer for ultra-fast tuning.

Power consumption is 10 watts nominal and 15 watts maximum during continuous I&Q streaming, making it ideal for manned or unmanned strategic and tactical signal collection and monitoring applications.
