Weaverville, NC –Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas and local author, Amy L. Sullivan announce the release of
When More is Not Enough on September 22, 2014. In celebration of this book’s release a Family Volunteer Fair is scheduled for September 27, 2014 from 10:00 am to Noon at The United Methodist Fellowship Hall located at 90 North Main Street in Weaverville. Seven local nonprofits and others-centered agencies will be on hand to share how families can become involved in serving people in WNC. Agencies in attendance include ABCCM, Hands On, Girls on the Run, Project Linus, Sweetwater Youth Ranch, Shortbus Studio, and The Bair Foundation. Activities at the event will include hands-on service projects for families, music, face painting, games, and treats.
“This book examines one simple idea that has the potential to save our youth from the weak generation many have deemed them to be: service,” says Sullivan.
When More is Not Enough offers practical ways you can live a generous life as a family. In addition, proceeds from the book will be donated to Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry’s “Transformation Village”, a new housing development for woman and children and families in crisis in Western North Carolina.
