AFS honors Harry Raduege Jr at 2014 Annual State of Technology Cyber Security Summit

DALLAS - Oct. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Cyber security has been nationally declared one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation.  America’s Future Series is aligned with the Dallas Chamber of Commerce to produce this luncheon.  On Veterans Day, the luncheon will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Sheraton – Dallas, 400 N Olive Street, Dallas, TX  75201.

The luncheon will feature Gordon England, Former Deputy Secretary, Department of Defense; Former Deputy Secretary, US Homeland Security and Former Secretary of the US Navy as the keynote speaker.  Other speakers include Fred Chang, Director, Deason Institute for Cyber Security, SMU; Erin Nealy Cox, Executive Managing Director Stroz Friedberg, LLC; Israel Martinez, President Ason Glabal Services; and John South, Chief Security Officer Heartland Payment Systems.

America’s Future Series will present the 5 Star Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions to the Field of Cyber Security to Lt General Harry Raduege, Jr.  As a small child, he learned about trust, integrity, and hard work by helping his father, a milk deliveryman.  Raduege retired after serving 35 years in the US Air Force, serving in areas technology including telecommunications, space, information and network operations.  He is currently Chairman of the Deloitte Center for Cyber Innovation.  Following the 9-11 terrorist attacks, Radeuge led efforts to restore communications to the Pentagon, upgraded Presidential communications and spearheaded the expansion of the department’s Global Information Grid.
