North Highland Continues Expansion of St. Louis Office Leadership Team

ST. LOUIS - Sept. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Global management consultancy North Highland (http://www.northhighland.com/) is pleased to announce that consulting experts Carl Turza and Mark Vreeland have joined the firm’s St. Louis office. Turza will serve as CIO advisory practice leader, responsible for supporting business development efforts, offering digital engagement thought leadership and enhancing the CIO advisory practice. Vreeland will take on the role of health care advisory practice leader and principal within the firm, focusing on information management and collaboration, information architecture, governance and business intelligence for clients.

Within his career of more than 30 years, Turza brings a vast and broad set of experiences and skill to the firm. Most recently, as part of Daugherty’s management and strategy consulting practice, Turza built their Omni-channel service offering, provided CIO advisory support, and helped elevate the discussions within the C-suite of their clients and prospects. Previously, Turza served as global vice president of e-commerce for VWR International, CIO for Sigma-Aldrich, and vice president of e-business for WW Grainger. He was recognized with the CIO 100 award twice by CIO magazine while at WW Grainger and then at Sigma-Aldrich.

“Carl brings a triple threat of strong leadership, strategy and the solid understanding of the intersections and convergence between demand generation and marketing, supply chain, technology and back-end system integration,” said Turner.

Vreeland joins North Highland from Ernst & Young, where he led the health care information management and analytics competency. In this capacity, he was responsible for establishing and developing the competency and leading a group of 35 experts across North America. Vreeland is an active member Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Data Administration Management Association (DAMA).

Turza holds his undergraduate degree from University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana and his MBA in finance and strategic planning from University of Illinois-Chicago. Vreeland holds a master’s in information resource management from Webster University, St. Louis, Mo. and a bachelor’s degree in systems and data processing from Washington University.
