‘The Somebodys’ Hits The 500 Milestone

LONDON - Sept. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- There are many wedding bands around, but few have enjoyed the success of earcandy’s exclusive act, ‘The Somebodys’. The Somebodys have just completed their 500^th wedding performance. They book for all kind of events, but weddings are what they have become well known for.

The Somebodys is earcandy’s all male Pop/Rock band, performing covers of the biggest hits from the 50s till the present day. With such an eclectic set list, they appeal to all age ranges, which is one of the things that have contributed to their success. Ben Rogers, earcandy’s founder says “The Somebodys are the kind of act that you book when you want both your niece and your grandma on the dance floor.”

And it’s not just the number of weddings that’s impressive. The Somebodys have received over 9,000 views on youtube. So why have The Somebody’s experienced a level of success that most wedding bands only dream of?

The Somebodys is one of earcandy’s smaller bands, starting at just a three piece. This means they are affordable, so they don’t break the bank. But just because they are small doesn’t mean they don’t ‘pack a punch’.

The Somebodys makes use of production industry techniques, which are designed to enhance their 100% live performance. They make use of live production, which means their clients get full sound that one might expect to hear from a famous artist. The benefit of this is that clients can hear all the modern songs, with all the synths, percussion and extra bits that adds a lot to the experience.

Earcandy Acts are made up of a pool of professional session musicians. They are all hand picked and auditioned  - so this means their quality exceeds what clients normally expect from wedding bands. Each act is managed by a dedicated Musical Director .Their job is to make every show as spectacular as possible, and because they work on a regular basis to do this, over time The Somebodys has the ‘development’ that is normally reserved for major-label artists.
