Top Arkansas Real Estate Team Presents Donation to the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Sept. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- On September 23, 2014, The Limbird Team of RE/MAX Real Estate Results presented the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter with checks totaling $2,500 to sponsor their upcoming fundraising event, Fresh Start. As the leader of the Limbird Team, which is the number one real estate team for sales in Arkansas, Tara Limbird holds this cause near and dear to her heart. She explained that learned a lot about the organization in her time with Leadership Benton County and now one of her agents, Michelle Dearing, serves on the shelter’s board.

“We are so fortunate to be able to give back to such a worthy cause in Northwest Arkansas,” stated Senior Vice President and Executive Broker Tara Limbird. “And with all the media coverage domestic violence is receiving from the recent NFL cases, it’s a timely reminder to area citizens that our local women’s shelter would greatly benefit from their financial support.”

The Limbird Team presented the check to Dr. Rebecca Farrell, the executive director of the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter, during a company party held at The Arbors of Bentonville, while several members of the local business community and the Bentonville Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce looked on.

“Funds like this help us provide assistance to those seeking shelter from violence, as we never turn anyone anyway,” explained Dr. Farrell. “The support of the community helps us fight the violence together.”

The Limbird Team, founded by Arkansas native Nick and Tara Limbird in 2010, is comprised of eight full-time agents and three support staff. . They are the number one real estate team in Arkansas as well as in the top 3 percent nationally. They have 40 years’ combined real estate experience, and are members of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.
