Along with two other UCONN basketball players, Napier became the first player in school history to win "bookend" national championships as a freshman and a senior. Not to mention, the feat was accomplished under the tutelage of two different coaches, Jim Calhoun and Kevin Ollie. In 2014, Napier led the surprising UCONN Huskies to record the first even national championship by a team seeded 7th in the NCAA tournament.
