There will be a total of six tours given during the four dates of the tour. Tours will be held on October 17, 18, 24, 25. The tour will start at the Northeast corner of the intersection of Blount Street and North Street and will end in the Oakwood Cemetery. The organization has also arranged J.C. Knowles to tell unique scary stories of Raleigh at the Oakwood Cemetery. Each tour will last roughly 75 minutes and a shuttle bus will be provided to take guests back to the start of the tour. “We are very excited to be able to give the people of Raleigh and the guests of Raleigh, a unique look into what the residents of Oakwood love so much about living here,” said Heather Scott, co-founder of Oak City Preservation Alliance. “I was amazed at the new information that I didn’t know about Oakwood, from talking to my neighbors. We hope our guests will really enjoy this very unique tour.” A limited number of tickets are on sale now to the public starting at $10 per ticket, and kids 12 and younger are admitted free with an adult ticket.
