Blake S. Sando Installed as President of the Coral Gables Bar Association

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Oct. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Blake S. Sando was sworn in as the new 2014-2015 president of the Coral Gables Bar Association during its 63nd annual Installation Reception at the historic Venetian Pool in Coral Gables on Saturday September 27.  In attendance at the Installation were Mayor James Cason; City Attorney Craig Leen; City Commissioner Frank Quesada, as well as many judges, attorneys and leaders from the local business and legal communities.

“I am honored to have been elected President by my colleagues and I look forward to serving this year with a focus on continuing to build the Association’s membership and having the Coral Gables Bar Association become more involved in our local and legal communities.” said Mr. Sando.

New officers were also installed at the President’s Ball including executive committee members: Andres J. Correa, President-Elect; William C. Sussman, Treasurer; Jorge Fors, Jr., Secretary, and Kayla Riera-Gomez, Immediate Past President.

As a partner with Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., Mr. Sando practices in the areas of insurer bad faith and professional malpractice litigation. He focuses his practice primarily on the defense of attorneys, insurance agents, title agents, closing agents, appraisers, accountants, realtors and other professionals who are sued for professional negligence, and he represents a host of other clients in both civil litigation and transactional matters.

Mr. Sando holds a J.D. and LL. M. from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia as well as a B.A. in history from Yale University.  Mr. Sando lives in Coral Gables, FL with his wife, Jennifer Sando, and their three young children.
