Ginn Mill And SpaceUnited Partner For World Space Week Humanitarian Trivia Fundraiser

Oct. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Denver, CO - The Ginn Mill, a low-key, friendly drinking spot in LoDo, and SpaceUnited, a Colorado-based humanitarian space agency, are co-hosting a trivia fundraiser to save lives with space technology from 6-10 PM MT on Monday, October 6th.

The Ginn Mill co-owner Jonathan Weaver said that he’s “looking forward to making this a big event and for it to have a big turnout!”

The event will feature space-themed trivia, free popcorn, and various prizes. The Ginn Mill will donate all of their profits from the evening to SpaceUnited, and attendees will also be able to offer their financial support. These funds will contribute to the nonprofit’s operating costs, which allow it to execute missions like its international satellite imagery relief program.

"Jimmy and Jonathan at The Ginn Mill have been nothing but supportive during our partnership,” said Adam Brinckerhoff, SpaceUnited Development Engineer and the fundraiser’s host. “They are a top sponsor of our organization and we’re excited to co-host this and many more events with them in the future."

The space trivia fundraiser is also on the official calendar of events for the United Nation’s World Space Week. The holiday occurs every year in early October, and it “has grown into the largest public space event on Earth.”
